Timothy Duane Greene was born on November 29, 1953, to Lawrence and Etta Greene in Los Angeles. His early years were in Mar Vista area starting grammar school at Grandview Blvd. Elementary School in Mar Vista. When Tim was 9 years old he moved to Culver City with his parents. He continued his education in the Culver City School system until graduation from Culver City High School in 1972.
In 1973 Tim moved to Lancaster, CA. when he was hired on at Lockheed Aircraft Co. in Palmdale. He helped care for his parents for a couple of years after he was laid off from Lockheed in 1990. Tim was an avid book reader. His favorite subject was history.
Tim was predeceased by his parents and his sister Marietta. He is survived by his brother Ellsworth and his children Larry, Bob, and Alice. Marietta's children also survive, Gary Miller, (Laura) Dean Miller (Maureen) and Michael Miller(Anita). Also surviving is Tim's brother Carter and his wife Kathy. Carter and Kathy's children are Christopher (Tracy), Kevin (Angela), and Keith (Katie). Timothy passed on January 6, 2024, at the Antelope Valley Medical Center. There is no service planned.
