Timothy Mark Hanke

Timothy Mark Hanke, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, just 4 days after his 59th birthday. Tim was a man of many worlds. He was an avid fisherman, up at 4AM, gassing up the boat & loading up the bait. On the slopes, he was a fearless snowboarder, carving through powder with grace & the thrill of a rebel. As a young boy he spent winters riding snowmobiles or ice skating on frozen lakes. He was a music enthusiast, strumming his guitar & piano. His hands, calloused, found their truest calling as a millwright & pump specialist. Repairing the machinery that powered the papermill industry. Moving on into his quality control career in the aeronautical field for a time but returning to his passion of industrial pumps.

He spent hours maintaining his fish tanks from salt water to freshwater fish.

Angel fish, mighty arowana, 3 bobbling parrot heads, & his prized plecostomus, Alfred. Tim is survived by his former wife of 29 years, Tia O'Kelly, who holds their shared memories close, siblings Chuck & Cathy & father, Dave. He was predeceased by his mother, Diane.

An open house potluck to celebrate Tim's life will be held on 11/15/2025, between 1pm-5pm at the Dolphin Yacht Club 34 S. A St Washougal, WA. Finger foods will be available, please bring your favorite dish to share. It is an open house forum. If you have words or a story to share kindly reach out ahead of time so we can ensure space for your voice.
