Timothy Harberts Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home & Crematory - Holiday on Aug. 21, 2025.
Timothy Mark Harberts, 70, passed away peacefully at home in Spring Hill, Florida, on Monday, July 14, 2025, after a courageous 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on June 21, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, Tim was the beloved son of Yvonne and Henry Harberts Jr. He is survived by his loving partner, Sheree McFarland; his children, Kyle (Stephanie), Zachary (Amber), and Bethany; and his cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Henry, and Timothy. He is also survived by his brothers, Henry (Melody) Harberts III of St. Augustine, FL, and Jonathan (Maureen d. 2006, Gloria) Harberts of Davidsonville, MD; and his cousin, Richard (Rosemary) Gilbert of Baltimore, MD. Tim was a proud uncle to Derek (Erin) Harberts of Baltimore, MD; Sabrina (Timothy) Kirkendall of St. Augustine, FL; and Jared (Eileen) Harberts of Edgewater, MD.
Tim graduated from Severna Park High School in 1973 and earned his degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1978. Tim married Jean Kyle (d.2024) in Philadelphia and they had three wonderful children together. They later divorced but remained close friends. Tim devoted his life to serving others, working as a lab director, volunteer EMT, and volunteer firefighter. His dedication to healthcare and emergency services reflected his deep compassion and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Tim was an avid golfer, he loved traveling the world, photography and cooking. Tim loved his family, his country, and his fellow man. With a warm heart and a kind spirit, he made friends wherever he went. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We will forever cherish the time we had with him, and he will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life for Tim will be held at Antonio Rosmini Hall in Spring Hill Florida on August 30th at 3pm.
