Sharon Sue Carnes, 58, of Holiday, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2026 at her home.
She was born July 22, 1967, in Cleveland, Ohio, and had made Holiday her home for the past 30 years.
Sharon had a deep and abiding love for animals, especially horses. They were truly her passion. Over the years, she devoted herself to every aspect of caring for and working with horses - from walking and riding to cleaning stalls and training. Her dedication, gentle spirit, and natural connection with animals reflected her compassionate heart.
She is survived by her loving mother, Faith (nee Figuli) Carnes; her siblings, Mike (Teresa) Carnes, Ralph (Sharon) Carnes, and Luke Carnes; and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will fondly remember her.
She was preceded in death by her father, George R. Carnes.
Private graveside services will take place at West Richfield Twp. Cemetery.
