Timothy Brian "Timmy" Herndon, 48, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 1, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1977, to the late Deborah Diane Drury and Harry Eugene Herndon.
Timmy is remembered for his love of spending time with family and friends, good food, playing pranks, and working on his truck. For many years, he worked as a repossession driver, leading to the nickname "The Repo Man," though he was also known as "Big Tim," "T-Dawg," "Timbo," and "Tim-Tim." When he wasn't snatching people's cars, Timmy could often be found hunting, fishing, or at the river. He knew how to light up every room he walked into, no matter the circumstance, and was always cutting up and smiling.
A caring person through and through, to know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Deborah Diane Drury and Harry Eugene Herndon, as well as several uncles.
He is survived by his daughter, Chezney Cherie Herndon, with whom he shared a very special bond; as well as her siblings, Chaleigh Alexus Smith, Channa Ashlyn Cahoon, and Baylee Nicole Dixion; sisters, Michelle Moore, Jennifer Herndon Mincey, and Holly Herndon Spikes; brothers, Michael Rowe, Josh Hilton, and Anthony Eugene "Bobo" Herndon; nieces, Brittney Jordan, Alyssa "Virgil" Spikes, Riley Spikes Bennett, Ashlyn Rane Spikes, and Gabby Mincey; nephews, Canen Moore and Jayce Mincey; a great-niece, Kaliyah Jordan; great-nephews, Kamdyn Blake, Kayne Blake, Colton Bennett; as well as many other relatives; and his beloved canine companion, Trixie.
A visitation will be held on May 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM with a service to follow at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
