Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry-Psalms 88:2 Timothy Charles Holder was born June 18, 1968, in Johnston County to the late James Curtis Holder and Virginia Holder. He entered eternal rest on May 17, 2023, at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Timothy attended Smithfield Selma Highschool. After school, he had employment at Flounders and RR Edward Tobacco Warehouse, and through the years Timothy became an entrepreneur. His passion was helping the elderly by sitting with them and conversating. He often said they could really tell you some good advice.
Later in life, Timothy became a member of Tabernacle of the Congregation. While there, he was loved for his kind heart. His favorite song was I’m Running For My Life. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy and James Willis Holder.
Timothy leaves to cherish his loving memories; his children, Samantha Nicole Justine Lewis of Clayton, NC, Timothy Javel Holder of Smithfield, NC, and Riyahad Charles Donte Holder (Jamie) of Zebulon, NC; his sisters, Reverend Deloris Hunter (Donzel) of Raleigh, NC, Tami Sanders of Clayton, NC, Barbara Holder of Smithfield, NC, Gwendolyn Holder of Smithfield NC, and Sandra Holder of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Glenn Holder (Gloria) of Clayton, NC, Bobby Holder of Clayton, NC, Ronald Holder (Sarah) of California, and Jimmy Holder (Cynthia) of Louisiana. Timothy also leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren, a host of relatives, and a very special friend, Ethel Boylan. May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace Numbers 6:24- 26
