Timothy Jordan Houren, age 67, passed away on September 27, 2025.
Born on July 9, 1958, in Oak Park, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Tena Giertych; stepson, Eliot Coleman (Jennifer); and grandson, Ethan Coleman.
Tim was the son of the late William T. and Virginia M. Houren; the dear brother of William (Diane), Jerome (Christine List), Patrick (Nancy McKnight), Maurita (Thomas Beamish), John (Tracy), Margaret (Antonios Kieropoulos), and the late Virginia and Michael Houren. He was also a proud uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many, and will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Ascension Catholic Church, Oak Park, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Liturgy at 10:30 a.m.
