Timothy Itzen passed away at his home peacefully on December 9, 2023 with his family by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 14, 2023 at the Elks Lodge in Clewiston Fl. at 5 o'clock.
Tim was born August 1, 1955 in Wheaton Minnesota. He grew up on the family farm where he farmed with his brothers till 1986. Graduated from Herman High School in 1974. He married his High School sweetheart Brenda Volker on April 30, 1977. Attended Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria Minnesota. Graduate from a 2-year Hydraulic program in 1988. This brought his family to Clewiston Florida where he worked at Hydraulic Supply then onto Motion Industry until his health caused him to retire in 2019.
Tim enjoyed his time at River Ranch (his Happy Place he called it) where he and his family would ride the trails on the ATV's, go mudding, and sit by a campfire. Spent all their Thanksgivings there where he was the "Master Head Cook and Smoker King".
Tim loved spending time with his grandson Ethan, whether it was taking him fishing, River Ranch Riding or attending his baseball games. His kids were his pride and joy and was their Hero.
Tim passed away after losing his 6 ½ year battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Brenda of 46 years. Daughter Ashley Itzen-Cumbow and husband Joel Cumbow - Jacksonville Fl. Daughter Lacy Itzen and Grandson Ethan - Clewiston Fl, Daughter Jessica Itzen -Tennessee and a son Tyler Itzen - Gainesville Fl. Sister Lois Maki - Minneapolis MN, Sister-in-Law Linda Itzen - Ft Dodge IA, sister Marylee Rath - Morris MN. Patricia and Mike Ludwig - Monticello MN. Brother Randy Itzen and Cindy from Herman MN, sister Margo Hawkinson - Alexandria MN and brother Jeff Itzen - Herman MN. Many nieces and nephews and 5 grandchildren.
Tim is proceeded in death by his parents and George and Margaret Itzen, brothers Lowell (Buddy) Itzen and William (Billy) Itzen. Brother-in-Law Richard Rath and niece Caroline Rath.
Tim will be greatly missed by his family and many friends that he has met in his lifetime.
A Memorial Service will be planned later in Herman MN in the Summer of 2024.
