Timothy Joseph Jank, 69

Tim Jank passed peacefully at home in Hayden Lake, Idaho, September 8, 2025, age 69, with his fly-fishing gear packed for the Clark Fork River. We've decided to make that trip happen for him anyway. If Tim taught us anything, it's that adventures don't wait.

Born December 7, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan, Tim was the youngest of five and a natural at making life unforgettable. He helped lead Arthur Hill High to a still-standing undefeated, unscored-upon football season. After graduating from Alma College, he worked as a CPA in Chicago until spreadsheets gave way to a cross-country drive in a Porsche he restored, a Newport Beach romance, and marriage to Pam in 1982.

Together they raised three spirited kids, remodeled homes, and in 1990, traded California's bustle for Coeur d'Alene Idaho's lakes and trees. Tim built custom homes; Pam worked in real estate. Their final home overlooked the waterfalls and ponds of Avondale Golf Club where Tim golfed and entertained with gusto.

Tim lived big, he didn't dabble; he devoured life restoring classic cars, backpacking Europe, hunting, fly-fishing, ocean fishing, golfing, and boating across the entire globe. He had an unmatched sense of humor, the constant jokester. He lived by his motto: "He who dies with the most toys wins." And while we can't confirm the scoreboard, we're quite sure he's in the lead.

Tim left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to cross his path, his laughter, his generosity, and his zest for life echoing long after his stories are told.

Survived by: Wife Pamela Joy (Brown); children Brandon, Allison Williams, Travis; grandchildren Matthew, Hadley Williams, Lillian, Anastasia; siblings Barbara Jo Young, Mary Sue Delrez, Michael H. Jank.
