Timothy Bryan Johnson Sr.

Timothy Bryan Johnson Sr., 84, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at his home. Timothy was born June 25, 1941 in Wathena, KS, son of Gladys and Leonard Johnson. He graduated from Wathena High School. On January 6, 1997, he married Tamara Guilliams in Albuquerque, NM. Timothy was a Master Crain Operator, working at Rockwell International in Atchison and Rinker Material in New Mexico, retiring with over 30 years of work. He enjoyed old cars and going to car shows, he was a Jazz Music enthusiast, and loved spending time with his family. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Ebony Nicole Johnson, brothers, Gilbert, Leonard, and Joseph Johnson, sisters, Ernestine Thornton, Olive McNeal, and Jean Robinson. Survivors include: wife, Tamara Johnson of the home, children, Vanessa (Dequince) Atkinson of Kansas City, MO, Patricia (Donna) Johnson of Omaha, NE, Timothy (Izetta) Johnson Jr. of St Joseph, and Faith Mabion of St. Joseph, sister, Doris Massey of St. Joseph, MO, and his special sister in law, Pat Stillman of St. Joseph, 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home. Following services, Mr. Johnson will be cremated.
