Timothy L. King, known affectionately as Tim, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 59. He was born on February 12, 1966, in Dayton, Ohio, and spent his life bringing joy and laughter to everyone he encountered.

Tim had an illustrious career at Emery Worldwide, where he cultivated many friendships that spanned his years with the company. His colleagues fondly remember him as a dynamic presence, known for his witty humor and lighthearted pranks that often got everyone worked up in laughter.

Beyond his professional life, Tim adored his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 33 years, Wendy King, and a proud father to his seven children: Timothy King (Ashley), Paige King, Christian King (Jewelldyn), Daisy King, LaKeisha King, ShyAnne King, and Aiden King. Tim's love extended to his grandson, River, who brought him immense joy.

A true animal lover, Tim shared his home with his dogs, Stella and Otis, who were an integral part of his life. In addition to spending quality time with his family, he found happiness in pursuing various hobbies. Tim enjoyed overnight fishing, hosting cookouts and pool parties, and indulging in his wife’s delicious cooking. A passionate Cincinnati Bengals fan, he relished the thrill of game days.

Tim is survived by his wife, children, grandson, and his sisters: Charlotte Aiken and Loretta Bowens (Ron), as well as his brother, James Bartrum (Vanessa). He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews whose lives he touched with his jovial spirit.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Juanita Bartrum.

As we remember Tim, we celebrate a man whose laughter, love for family, and zest for life will always remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.  To share a memory of Tim or to leave his family a special message, please sign the online guestbook provided.
