Timothy “Timmy” Lynn Kumpe, the hardest working man I know, passed away at just the age of 59 in his home on Christmas morning, December 25, 2023. Timmy’s priorities were certainly his children, his job, hunting, & being absolutely comical. He had a significant charm and an angelic laughter that will never be forgotten. Growing up Timmy had a passion for Racing his Mud Truck “Thumper” with his Father, Brothers, Friends & Cousins. I truly believe Timmy loved his family more than his own life so much that he would have traded his own for a few others. All of his co-workers have attested that “he is the Jack of all trades and have genuinely expressed their condolences. If you know Timmy you will know he was one with nature. He shared his love of nature with his family and friends by fishing, hunting and floating at the Buffalo River. I could go on and on about the things he was truly passionate about but lastly I will say he was a major Razorback fan (when they would win), had compassion for his fathers dog Minnie that he inherited from his mother & father, and just facetiously communicating consistently with his children.
Tim is survived by his Son Christopher “Critter” Lynn Kumpe; his beautiful daughter Shelby Lynn Kumpe; Jeremy Mullins; and Ashley Burris. He is also survived by his siblings: David J. Kumpe and Troy A. Kumpe. Timmy also leaves behind one grand child Kristin Lynn Kumpe; he also leaves behind one grand dog, Molly Lynn Kumpe; he also leaves behind one niece, one nephew, a copious amount of cousins, and many other loved ones. He was predeceased by his Father, Edward “Jackie” Kumpe; his mother, Cora Marlene Kumpe; one nephew; and an accumulative amount of other loved ones.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral at 3:00 PM, Tuesday January 9, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ivy Chapel Cemetery, Little Rock.
