Sarah, what you said in church today regarding your dad was absolutely beautiful. I don´t know how you held your composure. Thank you, Rob Horan.

Words are not easy to come by. It´s almost impossible to think about. I met Tim thru my husband John. In 1985. John had asked me out on a date and he came to pick me up. On the way to the car, he said I hope you don´t mind but I brought a friend of mine along because he´s going thru a tough time. Classic John and Tim. Always helping a friend. Well, I was not only surprised but in the years since (40 this summer) I have witnessed a group of friends who have always been there for each other. Who have done their best to stay connected. Tim played Santa at one of our first Christmas parties as new parents. He played the chief at our numerous camp outs up in Wisconsin. We stayed connected as much as life allows sometimes, but there´s never enough time! His smile, his warmth, his love for people and for his family will stay behind as a testimony.
" Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. " John 15:13.
This is what Jesus did for us and that love is what will reconnect us back to God when we die. Now is the time. Don´t hesitate.
John and I and our three adult kids will miss Tim so much. We pray for God to grant peace and a focus on eternity to all that knew him and loved him.

Tim was one of my very best friends, we met playing little league baseball at about age 7 and remained friends throughout our lives. We still played golf, went fishing and to a few Cubs games together. What a great guy, always smiling! We´ll sure miss you a lot. Rest in heavenly pease brother.

I remember meeting Tim for the first time. He had this genuine warmth which came with a smile. Easy to talk to. And from that day forward we were family!
Right away I saw how much he loved his family. The way he looked at Sarah and didn´t hold back with his granddaughters how much they meant to him was so precious. He would plan outings to be with them. He would bring a dip to share at family gatherings or bring them a dinner.
I will miss him being around. I will miss his sense of humor and his kindness. I will miss his gentleman qualities. I will miss his smile.
He isn´t someone to get over he is someone that you carry forward. Peace be with you.

I used to eat breakfast with Tim at Cafe 14 for the last 2 years on Saturday or Sunday at the counter. From our many discussions, we both realized we worked together at AH Vending 35 years ago. I will miss him, he was a great guy.

I met Tim about 15 years ago through a mutual friend on the golf course. Immediately I knew he was the kind of guy I wanted to hang with, good natured, thoughtful, honest, and fun to be around. We played at least 40 rounds of golf per year, I am so going to miss him, golf will never be the same without you Tim, I loved you and I will miss you my friend.

I met Tim over 30 years ago and anyone who knew him knows you couldn't forget him once you'd met him. Always the life of the party, bringing laughter and smiles wherever he went and just an all around good human being. We started connecting regularly as friends after my nieces wedding and he became my confidant and person I looked forward to texting, calling, sending our treasured photos and special times with kids/grandkids, food we ate for dinner , his fishing catches, golf, the Cubs games, Da Bears and vacations. I looked forward to his random messages just asking "How are you doing?" We understood each other's difficulties in life and our connection may not have been in person as much as in thought. I cannot describe the gaping hole in my heart, and life I feel, knowing we will not have this any longer. I'd like to let his family know how very much he will be missed by myself and so many others his kind heart touched. My older two children remember our camping trips to Holiday Shores years ago and Tim becoming "Chief Chippewa" and how he'd tell stories and we'd all dance around the fire. This became a tradition for several years that we all looked forward to. Your friendship meant souch to me

Tim was an all around great guy. I worked with Tim for many years. He was caring and always took the time to train and help the new techs. He was funny, hard working, and a good man. He loved his family and always talked about them. He truly will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. God bless and I will see you again someday my friend.

I was fortunate enough to be blessed to work with Tim Lancaster for many years at Henry Schein on many Projects. We would go to Lunch and recap the project and Tim would " Give his classic direction " I´m telling you, this is what has to happen ". He was classic and a Class Act Gentleman and fun to be with. - God Bless you Tim.

We had the privilege of living across from Tim for 7 years. He was a very good neighbor! We had many chats about the Cubs, Bears, (he´d say I hope you don´t mind my yelling!) My husband enjoyed talking fishing & golf with Tim. He was so proud each time he told us he was a grandpa! At Christmas we´d exchange goods, my banana bread & muffins for his split pea soup & chocolate peppermint candy!!! Delicious! He always had a project going on his house. Beautiful work!
Rest in peace Tim, with Jesus our Lord & Savior

I remember Timothy from our family's trip from Hawai'i to Chicago in 2000. Attached is a photo taken during that trip at Uncle Ken's and Auntie Maryellen's home. Even though I only met Timothy that one time, I remember his smile and warm manner. I wish I could have known him better. "The soul takes flight to a world that is invisible, but there arriving, is assured of bliss and forever dwells in paradise." Rest in peace dear cousin Timothy A Hui Ho (until we meet again) in God's glorious kingdom. All my aloha, Annette Shively Lancaster, Kane'ohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i

Tim was a wonderful grandfather to Audrey and Kinsley. Each time we were together was at Sarah´s and Jake´s for a party and Tim was always happy to be with those he loved. We didn´t know each other long but I got to know Tim´s sincere and personable nature during a very enjoyable round of golf. I´m glad I knew him.
