Timothy J. Magazzu, aged 61, of Lindenwold, New Jersey, formerly of Marlton, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024. Born on March 14, 1963, in Bangor, Maine, to the late Peter J. and Judy Magazzu nee Giordano, Timothy grew up in a vibrant household that laid the foundation for his own loving family and his generous spirit.
Timothy, affectionately known as Tim to his friends and loved ones, was a man whose life was characterized by dedication and hard work. He shared a beautiful journey of 25 years with his beloved wife, Tracey Magazzu nee Carbone, and together they raised two wonderful children, Tyler (Arielle) and Talli (Jack Loeber). His role as a father was one he cherished deeply, and he instilled in his children the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family bonds.
He is survived by his brother, Lou J. Magazzu (Lisa), and his sisters, Theresa M. Skill (Steven), Lisa G. Krupa (Gary), and Lauri A. Donnelly. His warmth, guidance, and humor will be profoundly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Timothy was known for his years of service as a baseball coach in the Cherry Hill and Marlton Little Leagues. His passion for the game and his ability to mentor young athletes left a lasting impact on many lives. He taught his players not just the rules of the game, but also the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and striving for excellence in all aspects of life.
Timothy's hardworking nature was evident in his professional life, where he was respected by his colleagues and known for his integrity and reliability. He took great pride in providing for his family, ensuring that they had everything they needed to lead fulfilling lives.
Beyond his professional and community contributions, Timothy found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved vacationing with his family, creating unforgettable memories in many different locales, over the years. These trips were not just about the destinations, but about the laughter, stories, and bonds that were strengthened with each adventure.
An avid golfer, Timothy found solace and joy on the greens. His competitive spirit was always present, but it was the camaraderie and friendships forged on the golf course that he treasured most.
Services will be held privately for the family.

My very first memory of Tim was around 1972 walking to school along Ramblewood Parkway (before the Magazzus moved to Belaire Dr) and Tim would say, "I'm Larry Bowa" in a funny voice. When he moved to Belaire Drive, he became a good friend - he truly was one of the nicest people I've ever known. I'm so sorry to his close family and friends who have lost such a beautiful man. But, maybe some solace in recognizing how blessed you were to have him in your lives all these years.
