Timothy Shawn O'Dell died peacefully on August 12th at Hospice House in Kansas City. Tim was born on February 19, 1968, in Independence, Missouri to Jerry O'Dell and Donna Dilley. At age 9, he made the decision to ask the Lord to be his savior. Best decision he ever made.

His elementary years were spent at Benton Grade School and he graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1986. After one year at UCM Warrensburg, he decided he was not ready for higher education.

While still in high school, he worked at Stephenson's Old Apple Orchard restaurant as a bus boy and later as a server. He loved that job and all the family there. He later went to work for AT&T for several years. He moved on to server at Islamorada restaurant at Bass Pro, his last job was at Sam's Club in Independence.

Tim was a loving son, brother to Dean O'Dell and a faithful friend to many. He is survived by his mother Donna Dilley, dad Jerry O'Dell and his brother Dean. His devotion to Dean was amazing, they were truly inseparable, attending every Royals game for years. They were loyal Royals all the way.

Contributions in Tim's honor may be made to City Union Mission, Kansas City, Missouri.

The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospice House for the wonderful care they administered to him in his last days.
