Timothy Wayne Painter

TIMOTHY WAYNE PAINTER age 66 of Crossville, TN passed away December 24, 2025. He was born September 28, 1959 in Crossville, TN the son of Edgar and Walcie Jones Painter. He was retired after 32 years with Walmart and was presently working with Cumberland County School System at CCHS. He was a kind Christian man who loved the Lord and his family. He was also an avid collector of comic books.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years- Debbie Painter of Crossville, TN, daughter- Charity Fitzgerald of Crossville, TN, sisters- Peggy Paquette and her husband Neil, Brenda York and her husband Jerry and Nancy Duncan and her husband Charles all of Crossville, TN, sister-in-law- Brenda Fitzgerald of Crossville, TN, sister-in-law and brother-in-law- Shirley and Larry Mooney of Kansas City, Kansas, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Buck and Vickie Fitzgerald of Rockwood, TN, a host of special nieces and nephews and many precious fur babies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law- Kyle and Rema Fitzgerald.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 31, 2025 at 2pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12noon-2pm at the funeral home. The burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully asked that donations be made in his memory to help with the cost of his funeral expenses.
