Timothy R. Popp, age 69, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at his home surrounded by love and family. He was born January 24,1956, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Bill R. Popp and Aline (Turner) Popp. He married the love of his life Karen Daniel on January 15,1977 in Piqua; Ohio and she survives.

Timothy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who knew and loved him, in addition to his wife, he is survived by two children: Tarrah Popp, Piqua, OH; Nathan Popp, Rockford, OH; two sisters: Cindy Popp, Piqua, OH; Linda Slagle, Sidney, OH, and four grandchildren: Allie, Billy Ray, Casey, and Austin. He was preceded in death by one brother: David Popp.

Timothy attended Piqua Central High School and graduated in the class of 1976. He entered the U. S. Army June of 1976 and proudly served his country. He worked for Earhart Propane in Troy, Ohio for 15 years, and was a Cub Scout leader for Troop #660 for 5 years. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors and would enjoy time camping and spending time with his loving family.

A Time to Honor the Life of Timothy will be held Wednesday August 27,2025 at 11:00am at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua, with Pastor Mike Calhoun officiating. Full Military honors will be presented by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad following the service. Family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00 am prior to service at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made in honor of Timothy to: The Dayton VAMC Fisher House 4100 W. Third St. Dayton Ohio 45428.
