Timothy Patrick Provost was born on March 4th, 1965 in Topeka, Kansas and lost his battle to heart failure on December 27th, 2025 in Austin,Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Verna Provost as well as a nephew, Mark Provost Jr.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Sloan St. Germain (husband Jed) and Anna Anderson (husband Josh) and his 4 grandchildren, Victoria, Alexis, JC and River., his 2 brothers, Joel Provost (wife Debbie) and Mark Provost, and 3 sisters, Sharon Tubbs, Shawn Gorman (husband Joe), and Stacie Provost and numerous nieces and nephews.
Timothy graduated from Airline High School in 1983 and continued his education by receiving his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Bossier Parish Community College in 1987. Timothy had a successful career in management with the grocery industry that included over 25 years of employment with Super 1 Foods and continued that career with Amazon.
Timothy or better known as Tim, spent most of his life in Louisiana before moving to Austin, TX in 2021. He had a great passion in training and participating in triathlons and marathons with over 100 finisher medals. He also enjoyed activities like floating the river, dining out with loved ones, and hanging out by the pool. He was a huge collector of all music, especially KISS and he enjoyed his jam out sessions weekly where he would become known as the "Dungeon Master". His love for music was deep and spanned his entire life as he was a bass player in a local band growing up and DJ'ed for weddings and other events with his best friend Mark in his later years.
Tim was the life of any party or event. He maintained a positive outlook and had an energetic personality always. He never condoned negative energy and could always meet someone where they were at in life and somehow always relate to them. Tim enjoyed his bourbon and ice cold beer. He truly enjoyed going out to eat weekly with family to different restaurants to experience all varieties of cuisine.
Tim also loved to go on yearly family vacations to the beaches which included: Fort Lauderdale, Pensacola Beach, and South Padre Island. He also loved weekend trips to San Antonio and walking the Riverwalk and enjoy rooftop hot tubs, Houston to explore the city with its zoos, aquariums and a fun place called the Color Factory, and Dallas to watch his beloved Dallas Cowboys play football. Tim was a great father and brother and he loved his family fiercely.
In honor of the rich life Tim Provost enjoyed, there will be a celebration of life in Austin, TX at a later date.
