Timothy Roll Obituary
Born and raised in Leadville, Colorado, Tim spent his winters skiing down the mountains. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He moved to Indiana after his service and began working at Camp Allendale and Greenwood Christian Church. He was a member of Rocklane Christian Church where he served as an elder and taught Bible study and Sunday school. Tim could often be found doing odd jobs for people, which brought him great joy.
Tim is survived by his wife, Wendy Kay (Pitcher) Roll of Whiteland; son, Russell Roll of Kentucky; daughters, Laura Wood of Nebraska and Emily Collins of Hawaii; grandchildren, Kathleen (Nick) Gilham of Greenwood, IN, Miranda (Derek) Davis of Tipton, IN, Samuel Roll and Marcus Roll, both of Cincinnati, OH; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Joslynn Gilham, both of Greenwood, and Grayson and Lincoln Davis, both of Tipton.
Tim was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice (Russell) Roll; daughter, Denise Turk; parents, Donald Harold and Bonnie Kay (Kelley) Roll.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00pm at Rocklane Christian Church, located at 4430 Rocklane Road, Greenwood, IN 46143, with visitation from 12:00pm until the service hour.
