Timothy Shaw

1952 - 2025

Timothy Ray Shaw, 73, of the Crane Creek Community, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025.

Visitation will be Monday, November 17, 2025 from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church, Bay St. Louis, MS, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial from 11 a.m. to 12:00, officiated by Father Mike O'Connor.

Burial and graveside service will be held at Crane Creek Cemetery following the Mass, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Tim was born in Poplarville, MS and grew up on a dairy farm in the Crane Creek Community. He graduated from Mississippi State and lived and worked in Houston, TX, as a graphic designer before returning to Crane Creek in 1994, where he taught art in the Hancock and Harrison County School districts. He had a immense life long love of art, music, cars, motorcycles, the outdoors and people and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Shaw and Gladys Lavinghouse Shaw.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Mary; brothers, Audwin Dean Shaw (Tracey) and Randy Bryant (Debbie) Shaw; nephew, Dylan Shaw; nieces, Caroline (Evan) Nichelson, Amber (Jonathan) Cameron; aunt, Bonnie Phelps; 3 grand nephews; 1 grand niece; numerous cousins and many friends.
