Timothy L. Sinclair

Timothy L. Sinclair, 76 was called Home to be reunited with his parents on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Tim lived his entire life in Monaca, a son of the late Thomas and Virginia Sinclair.

A graduate of Monaca High School, Tim was known for his athletic ability, particularly on the sports field. After high school, he bravely served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he was recognized for his valor and dedication with numerous awards, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Combat Infantry's Badge, Army Commendation Medal, and the esteemed Bronze Star Medal.

Upon returning home, Tim found employment with St. Joe Lead, which later became Horsehead, and dedicated many years of service before his well-deserved retirement.

He is survived by his loving partner of over 20 years, Pamela Dereta, who, along with her daughters Stephanie Lipomi and Natalie Dereta, Tim lovingly embraced as his own 'bonus' daughters. His role as a grandfather to Ava, Gianna, Cali, and Chase was one he cherished deeply.

He also leaves behind a caring family including his sisters, JoAnne (Ron) Nichols and Sue Ellen (Ed) Phillips, as well as brothers-in-law, Michael (Diane) Bukta and Rick Bukta and several nieces and nephews.

An avid golfer, Tim was not only a member of the Monaca Turner's and their golf league but also an active participant in the Rochester Elks Club and the Rochester VFW. His love for golf was only eclipsed by the joy he found in spending time with his grandchildren.
