Timothy Bryant Smith

Timothy Bryant Smith, 61, of Kannapolis, NC passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his home with his wife by his side.

Tim was born September 4, 1962 in Concord, NC to the late Charles Ray Smith and the late Betty Jean Smith. 

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Sherry Smith of Gold Hill, NC; son, Levi Smith; son, Joshua Smith and wife Angela; son, Patrick Burris; son, Luke Smith; brother, Chuck Smith; brother, Danny Smith; and brother, James Smith; as well as many loving grandchildren.  

Tim was a humble soft-spoken man with a heart of gold. He was a family man who enjoyed being around all of his family, especially his boys and his grandchildren. Tim enjoyed riding his motorcycles, collecting guns, mountain trips, building furniture, and most of all coaching his boys in little league. Tim loved watching football and cheering on his children as they played. Tim was a  master carpenter and mechanical engineer, his talent defined who he was. He was a member of Hill Street Church Of God in Albemarle, NC, and he loved the Lord. He was a beloved son, brother, husband and father who will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm, Monday, November 27, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Dr., Concord, NC.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Thomas Andrufski.
