Preceded in death by his parents James and Rosalie Sowards, sister Carol Dobbins, brothers Doug, Keith, and James Sowards, and grandsons James Mort Jr. and Bryce Bowshier. He is survived by his son, Timothy (Paige) Sowards Jr.; daughter, April; (Jimmy Mort) Sowards; grandchildren, Tayla and Timothy III Sowards, Alexus Basquez, Stephanie Retherford, Joseph Mort, and Jordan Mort; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Tony Sowards and David Sowards; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Mikey, James, and Charlie.
The family will receive friends 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave. where a sharing of tributes and memories will conclude the afternoon. ar
