Timothy Allen Stacy, age 49 of Dandridge (formerly of Elkhorn City, Kentucky), passed away following a lengthy illness on the morning of Monday, September 29, 2025.
He was a retired zinc miner. He loved mining and talked about it often. He also loved Kentucky basketball; and often said he bled blue. His greatest joy in life, however, were his grandbabies. Timothy will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Above all else, he was also a Christian; and a member of Muddy Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his father, Blake Stacy; he is survived by his wife, Lori Stacy; children, Jacob (Aryssa) Stacy & Hannah (Derek) Cote; grandchildren, Stevie & Sadie Stacy and Jack & Timothy John Cote; mother, Lena Kilgore; and sisters, Kate Stacy, Katherine Kilgore, Myra Kilgore, and LaDawn (Robyn) Hylton; a host of nieces & nephews, in-laws "bonus parents", Stevie & Kathleen Hackney, extended family members, and many wonderful friends.
Pastor Jess Sherrod will officiate the funeral service, which will take place at 7PM, Friday, October 3, 2025 at Muddy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. Interment is scheduled for 12 Noon, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Hills Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Muddy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. (2386 Hills Chapel Road - Dandridge, TN 37725)
