Okeechobee – Timothy Shawn Thompson who preferred to be called Shawn died June 28, 2024. He was born November 11, 1973 in Okeechobee, Florida. A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, he enjoyed drawing, tattooing, cooking and gardening,
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue Thompson; and father, Hershel Thompson.
He is survived by his sons, Dakota Thompson, of Tampa, Florida and Cody Thompson, of Okeechobee, Florida; daughter, Jessie Lianne, of Okeechobee, Florida; one grandchild; mother, Lilline Jessie Thompson; brother, Danny Thompson (Donna), of Tennessee; sisters, Julie Sanders (Roppy), of Okeechobee, Florida and Debra Boyd (Holmes), of Lorida, Florida; his four legged fur baby, Ladybug; and many loving family members.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee.
