Timothy “Tim” Baker, 56, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the Warren Lee and Nancy Whitaker Baker. He was the husband of 33 years to Kathryn Jean Baker who survives.
Tim was a consultant for Deloitte for many years working with restaurant and hospitality business owners to improve on operations and services. He worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. Tim was a Paramedic for 10 years in Wake County. He received a Bachelor’s degree from St. Andrews University and his Masters degree in Health Sciences at Western Carolina University.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy J. Baker of the home; daughter, Amanda Baker of Elon and his fur baby “Amadeus”. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family request for all those in attendance to please wear mask for the safety of the family and friends.
A service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Brian Middleswarth with the burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Elon. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Memorials may be made to the Cone Health Cancer Center1236 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
