Timothy Edward Vanderlinde

Timothy Edward Vanderlinde, 57, of Fairfield, California, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2025.
He will be remembered by his wife Barbara Mifsud-Vanderlinde; and his children, Hunter, Mary Brinnon, Chaz, Louie, and Gracie; his grandchild, Hayes; his parents, Ken and Sherry Hayes; and siblings, Susan, Heather, and Jeffery.
Timothy obtained his high school diploma from Auburn High School while he was in Mount Meigs Facility. He passed his GED test. He was honored as being one of the best Rangers to represent California and competed for the best Ranger contest in Georgia, in which he won. Timothy was a United States Army Veteran, where he served in the Special Forces. He became a non-commissioned officer in two years, although it takes most 6 years.
Timothy was a man who was strong in his faith; a God-fearing man. The Lord blessed him with the ability to love hard and the Lord blessed us by allowing us to feel that love through him.
A visitation will be held at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 3-5PM. A Graveside Funeral Service will be Friday, March 7, 2025, 10AM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 Hwy. 225 in Spanish Fort, AL.
