PARK HILLS - Timothy Michael Vaughn, a beloved father, husband, and friend, passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 58 in Arnold, Missouri. He was born on April 4, 1966, in Perry County, Missouri. Timothy’s warm personality, marked by his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor, left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
For many years, Tim dedicated his life to serving others through his work as a truck driver and later as a corrections officer at the Farmington Correctional Center. Tim was a man of many interests. He cherished the moments spent outdoors, whether it was floating on the river, fishing, camping, or embarking on scenic road trips. These hobbies not only brought him joy but also provided him with countless memories shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving mother, Wanda (McClure) Vaughn of Ste. Genevieve; his devoted wife, Patricia (Jordan) Vaughn; and his children, Bonnie (Ryan) Cook of Perryville, Cindy (Carl) Barbre of Illinois, Timothy Vaughn of Centerville, Daniel Vaughn of Park Hills, and Stephanie (Kyle Hatch) Vaughn of Kirksville. Timothy was a proud father, and his love for his children was evident in everything he did. He also leaves behind six grandchildren. Tim is further survived by his siblings: Laura (Robert) Lietz of Chesapeake, VA, David Vaughn of Fredericktown, and Donald (Sarah) Vaughn of Ste. Genevieve. He also had a special bond with his feline companion, Twinkie, who brought him comfort and companionship.
Tim will be lovingly remembered for being a wonderful father and for the deep love he held for his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Vaughn, and his grandson, Samuel Vaughn.
A visitation will be held on March 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory, located at 217 West Columbia Street, Farmington, MO. Interment to follow at Whitener Cemetery in Marquand. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center, P.O. Box 45, Farmington, Mo 63640. Timothy Michael Vaughn touched many lives and will be greatly missed. His legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will resonate in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come.
