Timothy Wade "Tim" Overbeck

Graveside services for Timothy Wade "Tim" Overbeck, age 70 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Gil Ramirez officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 on Friday evening, November 28.

Tim Overbeck was born in Seminole on May 5, 1955 to Margie (Edwards) and Henry Overbeck; Tim was a lifelong resident of Seminole. He played football in high school and was proud of receiving the Fighting Heart Award; he graduated from Seminole High School in 1973. Tim attended West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, graduating in 1977 with a degree in Agriculture.

Tim served his country in the United States Army, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He was honored to receive awards during his service time including the Senior Parachute Badge, the Army Commendation Medal, and Marksman Qualification Badge on the M16 rifle. Tim loved working as a farmer and enjoyed discussing anything agriculture related. He enjoyed eating steak, chicken, pies, and anything that had to do with the farm.

Tim Overbeck passed away November 24, 2025 at Seminole Memorial Healthcare Center. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jackie of Seminole; two sons, Jason Overbeck and wife Marcy of Lubbock, Texas and Justin Overbeck of Bluffton, South Carolina; one daughter, Melanie Parker and husband Josh of Star, Idaho; one brother, Randy Overbeck and wife Judith of Midland, Texas; one sister, Janice Smith of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
