Timothy Williams Jr.

Deacon Timothy Williams Jr. gained his wings on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the

age of 77. He lived a life filled with passion, purpose, and unwavering

dedication to his loved ones, church, and community. He leaves behind a

profound legacy that will forever inspire us. He was a loving husband, son,

father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Timothy Williams, Jr, a lifetime resident of the Maysville neighborhood in Mobile,

AL, was born November 28, 1947. He was the first of three children born to the

union of the late Timothy Sr. and Arthurine Williams (Thomas). He is preceded in

death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Williams; and sister, Linda Aldridge.

Timothy was a proud graduate of Lillie B. Williamson High School Class of 1966

and Alabama State University Class of 1970. At Alabama State University, he

obtained a degree in Business Administration. After graduating from ASU, he

began his career doing what he does best which is teaching. He became a

typing instructor at Coast Community College. In 1974, he began his career as a

United States Postal Worker until his retirement over 30 years later.

Timothy Williams' legacy will continue through the love of his life, his devoted

wife, Joyce Williams: three devoted children, Timothy (Rochelle) Williams, Las

Vegas, NV; Joycelyn Williams, Birmingham, AL; Joylanda Williams, Swedesboro

NJ; three grandchildren, Brianna Bryson, Braylon Bryson and Max Milien; and

godson, Timothy Jenkins.
