Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home of Jackson CenterTimothy W. Woolley, 72, of Jackson Center, passed away peacefully at 6:18 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Lima. He was born in Sidney, Ohio on February 25, 1953, to the late Marvin Richard and Ruby Nell (McGowan) Woolley.
On April 7, 1973, in DeGraff, Ohio he married Patricia Lynne (Moody) Woolley, and she preceded him in death on August 15, 2025.
Tim is survived by his children, Joni (Chris) Burmeister, Nikki (Mike) Tontrup, and Brad (Stephanie) Woolley; grandchildren, Konnor and Kelsie Burmeister, Kaitlyn and Zach Tontrup, and Calvin and Macie Woolley; brothers, Tom (Darlene) Woolley, and Phil (Missy) Woolley; sister-in-law, Connie Engler; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was employed as a steel fabricator at Crown Equipment for 25 years prior to his retirement. He was affiliated with the Shelby County Genealogy Society. Tim collected antiques and loved the "hunt" for unique antique items. He was a talented mechanic and could build and repair pretty much anything. He had a passion for his fruit trees and building Go Carts for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed displaying Civil War memorabilia at the Wapakoneta Fair Grounds alongside his late uncle, Eldon McGowan.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 607 S. Main Street, Jackson Center. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church. A meal for family and friends will follow the memorial service. Attendees are requested to dress in casual attire for the services.
