Tina Prigge Jonsgaard
12/27/1967 - 08/15/25
Mrs. Tina Prigge Jonsgaard was born on December 27, 1967, in Litchfield, MN, and adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Lester Prigge of Lewiston, MN. On August 15, 2025, Mrs. Tina was surrounded by the love and care of her husband, children and their spouses as she peacefully passed away in Rochester, MN.
Tina grew up in Lewiston, MN, on her parents’ farm with her sister, Cindy. She attended and graduated from Lewiston-Altura High School with the class of 1986. She went on to manage a Subway restaurant while raising her three children.
In 2005, she married the love of her life, Larry Jonsgaard and together they raised their beautiful blended family. In Tina's free time she enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, baking and dancing at the local dance hall. Tina and Larry also raised their fur babies, Lily and Smokie.
In 2022, Tina was the blessed recipient of a double lung transplant. The road to recovery allotted more time to slow down, enjoy what she loves and have more time to be crafty.
Tina is survived by her husband of 20 years, Larry Jonsgaard of Lewiston, MN; three children, Ashley Prigge of Shafer, MN, Shelby Prigge Brand (Jordan) of Rushford, MN, and Jeremy Prigge (Elissa) of Winona, MN; two stepchildren, Shawn Jonsgaard (Kimberlea) of Winona, MN, and Nikki Jonsgaard, Winona, MN; one sister, Cindy Schlink (Robert) of Frostproof, FL, and 16 grandchildren.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Betty Prigge of Lewiston, MN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Tina's honor to Donate Life America.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston (100 South Fremont St. Lewiston, MN) with visitation beginning at 9am.
Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
