Beverly (Lunde) Johnson, age 92, of Lewiston, MN, died Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Lewiston Assisted Living.
Beverly was born June 8, 1933 in Canton, MN, the daughter of Carl and Hazel (Olson) Lunde. On June 25, 1949, Beverly was united in marriage to Keith Johnson at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. Beverly was 16 when she got married, but later in life in 1987, she studied and then achieved her GED on her 54th birthday. She enjoyed playing the piano, which she taught herself by ear. Beverly was a farm wife, and was proud of helping her husband on the farm and raising their 6 children. She also worked for Rush Products for 15 years, and went on to work for Camera Art/Herff Jones for over 21 years until her retirement. In retirement, she volunteered at Winona Health as a pink lady, and loved it. Beverly loved to garden, and was known for her beautiful flowers.
Beverly is survived by her children: Karen (Jim) Brown, Aleta Johnson, Harold (Lynne) Johnson, Lynda (Dan) Duncanson, Rebecca (Rick) Domke, and Craig (Vicky) Johnson; 22 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith; grandchild, Willie; great-grandchild: Kayla; and 4 siblings.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilson, MN. Visitation will be Sunday, September 14 from 3 - 7pm at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Winona, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Lewiston Public Cemetery.
