Tina Lynn Mitchener, 51, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 in Pampa.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, September 8, 2025 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Jamisen Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Tina was born May 28, 1974 in Pampa to Dewey and Glenda Bye. She attended schools in Skellytown and graduated from White Deer High School in 1993. After high school, she attended Frank Phillips College. Tina lived in Borger for several years before moving to Amarillo. She worked in call centers for Xcel Energy and insurance companies. Tina loved to be able to help people. She also spent some time as a CNA and worked at a nursing home for a few years. Tina also worked for a short time at Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle in Amarillo.
Tina was a kindhearted person who had a great sense of humor. She loved being around people and animals. She was always wanting to please her family and friends and would do anything for them. Tina loved being around her family and loved her nieces and nephews so much. She enjoyed creating different types of crafts and fishing as her hobbies. Tina was a good friend and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Glenda Bye; grandparents, Alvin and Wilma Helms and Jim and Marlene Bye; and a sister-in-law, Melita Helms.
Survivors include her two brothers, Chad Helms and wife Crystal of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Justin Bye and wife Heidi of Amarillo; sister, Melissa Bye Thomas of Pampa; stepson, Tyler Mitchener of Amarillo; nieces, Kristen Helms and Addison Bye; nephew, Austin Bye; great nephew, Gavin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
