Tina Prevost

Augustine "Tina" Prevost, age 80, of Vancleave, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her home on December 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Tina was preceded in death by her father, Willie Davis; her mother, Margie Davis; her husband, Gary Prevost; her son, Mark Prevost; and her brother, George Davis. Also preceded in death by her brother-in-laws Boo-Boo Bang, Josh Salter, and John Wilson.
She is survived by her son, Greg Prevost (Sarah); her daughter, Vickie Tiblier (Bobby); and her siblings, Willie Mae Bang, Florence Harris (Rick), Georgia Ann Bang, Patricia Wilson, Brend Purvis (Lee), Ruth Renell Buchanan (Gill), Deborah "Baba" Hanshaw (Steve), Sharon Marie Delk, Carol Sue Willis (Dale), and Sheila Salter. Tina was a proud grandmother to Derek Flowers, David Prevost, Sabrina Prevost Davis, Marcus Prevost, Keith Prevost, Kevin Prevost, Lindsey Denton, and Raegan Tiblier. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren: Hayleigh Davis, Kaisyn Davis, Jaelyn Prevost, Katie Prevost, Cole Denton, Bentlee Davis, Parker Prevost, Peyton Prevost, Paisley Prevost, Haven Denton, Caiden Prevost, Lyla Denton, and Adley Prevost.
A lifelong resident of Vancleave, MS, Tina worked for many years at the Broadwater Hotel and Casino and later served as a custodian for Vancleave Schools, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. Tina enjoyed a simple, joy-filled life. She loved planting flowers, gardening, cooking for her family, picking fruit and vegetables with her sisters, watching General Hospital, shopping, visiting the casino, working crossword puzzles, and talking on the phone with those she loved. Her warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed.
The family invites relatives and friends to honor and celebrate Tina's life on Thursday December 11, 2025 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services Chapel, 6631 Washington Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564 from 10:00am - 11:00am with services immediately following at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Bonnie Chapel Cemetery
