Tina Marie Terrell, the daughter of Lyle Sr. and Marlene (Ossenfort) Lundgren, was born on November 12, 1956, in Sioux City, Iowa. She received her education from Sheldon schools and graduated from Sheldon High School in 1975. She was married to Grant Chapin in 1976, and two daughters were born to this union, Sarah and Rita. After their marriage the couple moved to Bloomfield, Iowa and in 1983 Tina suffered injuries due to a motorcycle accident. The couple later divorced, and Tina eventually moved to Cherokee where she spent many years of her life. On October 12, 2024, Tina passed away at the Granger Nursing and Rehab, reaching the age of 67 years and 11 months.
Tina was a longtime member of Cornerstone United Reformed Church in Sanborn. She enjoyed playing cards and games, singing and dancing, going to church, listening to music, telling jokes, cooking and sharing recipes. Tina had a warm and inviting personality and a never-ending smile. Most of all her joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters and their husbands, Sarah and Jason Hughes of Grimes, Iowa and Rita and Chad Van Meeteren of Sheldon: four grandchildren, Alexa, Lydia, Landon and Riley. She will also be remembered by her siblings Lyle Jr. (Mary) Lundgren of Orange City, Iowa, Connie Lundgren of Sheldon, Barb (Trent Sohn) Farrell of Sutherland, Iowa, Pam (Mark) Caboth of Estherville, Iowa, and Troy Lundgren of Florida; also, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Sr. and Marlene Lundgren, a sister, Ranae Lundgren, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
