Parkersburg—Tira Smith, 82, of Parkersburg, WV formerly of Tuppers Plains, OH, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, after a short illness surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born July 28, 1943, in Grantsville, WV, daughter of the late Charles W. and Greeta Harris Roberts. Tira was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grantsville, WV and attended the Joppa United Methodist Church in Reedsville, OH. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar. Tira made many friends over the years working in the Grand Central Mall at Brooks Fashions and Elder-Beerman.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Stacey (Darin) Wright and Marcie (Troy) Smith; 2 granddaughters, Breahna (Nathaneal) Bacus and Sierra (Josh) Wright; 5 great-grandchildren, Ryland, Ember Lynn, Addison, Octavia and Lillyahna; her significant other, Larry Millhone and his family, son, Steve Millhone, daughter, Kaleen (Mike) Hayman, grandchildren, Breanna (Dewayne) Clark, Josh (Whitney) Hayman; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Clark, and her beloved cat, Bozie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Dean Roberts and her children’s father, Herbert C. Smith, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Jack Sigman and Denzil Null officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, from 11 A.M. until time of service.
