Theodore James "TJ" Walters, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2023. TJ was born February 1, 1974 in Pottstown, PA to the late George Albert Walters and Kathleen Clark Walters.
TJ was a big jokester, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed making people smile. He had a great skill of working with his hands, whether it be building things or cooking. TJ was always drawn to the beach and liked fishing and crabbing. He attended First Christian Church and Community Church.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Ashelyn Walters, Lauren Walters, Emily Monger, Julia Winebarger; sister, Cynthia Wilcox and husband Gary; grandson, Rowan Winebarger; niece, Amanda Wilcox; nephew, Jonathan Wilcox; mother of his children, Kimberly Ramey; special friends, Billy Gambill, Mike Farmer, Jessie Anderson, William Smith, Gary Robinson; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dwayne Dickson officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Billy Gambill, Jesse Anderson, Mike Farmer, Hunter Anderson, Gabriel Anderson, and William Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Robinson and Gary Wilcox.
