Toby Anthony Roussel

Toby Anthony Roussel passed away peacefully at the age of 60 on Monday, February 23, 2026. He was born in Lutcher was raised in Reserve, where he built a life rooted in family, faith, and deep devotion to those he loved.

Toby is now joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Angela "Angie" Renee McDonald Roussel, whom he cherished. Their love was the foundation of his life.

He is survived by his children, Ashley Marie Roussel Himel (Scott), Jake Michael Roussel (Destin), and Jenna Anne Roussel Heikamp (Ridge), who were the light of his life. Toby was a devoted grandfather, known lovingly as "Pawpi", to Emersyn Ray Himel, Hudson Anthony Roussel, Jensen Anthony Heikamp, and Jayden Renee Heikamp, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy.

Toby was the beloved son of Patricia "Patsy" Brignac Roussel and the late Terry "Pappy" Roussel. He is also remembered fondly by his in-laws, Frances McDonald and the late Glen McDonald.

He was a loving brother to Tyler Roussel (Sally), Tracy Simon (Vincent, Jr.), Troy Roussel (Debbie), Terri Abadie (Anthony), and Tricia Tregre (Kirt). Toby also loved his godchildren, Toni Adams and Courtney Loupe, along with his many cherished nieces and nephews.

Toby will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home to all who knew him. Though deeply missed, his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy 44, Reserve on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
