Toby Ruben nee Kipper, 84, beloved wife of the late Melvin Ruben and adored companion of Eli Shupe; loving mother of Audrey Somers, Robin (Tim) McCarrick and Neal (Laurie) Ruben; cherished grandma of Nichole Somers, Ashley Somers, Matthew (Heather) McCarrick, Adam McCarrick, Ray Ruben and Rebecca Ruben; devoted daughter of the late Sara and Israel Kipper; dear sister of the late Phyllis Gallantin and Eric Kipper; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Chapel service Thursday 2:00 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
