Tod Alan Dikeman, resident of Ogallala, a loving grandfather, father, uncle, cousin, son, and friend to many, unexpectantly left this earth on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Tod was born August 25,1966, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah to Gerald Ray Dikeman (Deborah- Le Suer, MN) and Pricilla Kaye Smith (Curt Dahlkoetter- Aurora, NE). He had 2 siblings: Gina Jamison (Jonathan- Machaca, TX), Dane Dikeman (Tucson, AZ), and 4 half-siblings: Teddi Lenon (Danny- Grand Island, NE), Sarah Tachis (Matt- Hamburg, MN), John Dikeman (Amsterdam, Netherlands), and Rebecca McCreary (Matt- Schenectady, NY). He married Jamie Patrick in 1986, and they had 3 sons together: Derek Dikeman (Sutton, NE), Ian Dikeman (Lincoln, NE) and Seth Dikeman (Jessica -Greeley CO).

Tod lived to see the birth of a grandchild in 2025, Olivia Hanna (Derek). Tod attended multiple schools: McCook Public Schools, Lincoln Elementary (Hastings, NE), Adams Central (Hastings, NE) and Harvard High School (Harvard, NE). He attended one year of college at UNL, received an associate’s degree in archeology from Western Wyoming Community College, and a BA degree in Anthropology from UNM (New Mexico).

Tod had a colorful work life and many hobbies. He was a pawn shop owner, garbage man, motorcycle salesman, gunsmith, archeologist, and post office supervisor. He was a talented musician, artist, fisherman, and metal detectorist.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: George F. Dikeman and Jessie Mae Gaunt (Ace Gaunt) and Ulis and Martha Wolf.
