Todd David Bathke, 58, Little Chute, passed away at his home March 12, 2024, from heart failure.
Todd was born on October 25, 1965, in Manitowoc County to Lester and Ruth (Wehausen) Bathke.
Todd grew up on the family dairy farm in Valders, Wisconsin, and graduated from Valders High School with the Class of 1984. After the farm, he relocated with his family to Black Creek, where he was employed at Alto Dairy. In 1997, the family settled in Appleton, and Todd began his employment journey with Menasha Corporation, where he remains employed till the time of his passing. Over his 26+ years with Menasha Corp, Todd worked his way up to Journeyman Millwright. Among his proudest achievements was maintaining sobriety for the past 20 years. He forged numerous friendships through his Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and never intentionally missed a gathering. Todd's world revolved around his son, Brandon, his grandchildren Mariah, Jaxson, Ethan, Ember, Ellie and his expanding family, eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new baby boy. He took immense pride in them and showered them with endless affection. Some of his fondest memories were cheering from the bleachers at Mariah's school events. Todd's love for his Harley was evident, as he was rarely seen without a Harley Davidson shirt. He also delighted in listening to classic rock, glam metal, and the iconic hair bands of the 80s.
Todd is survived by his mother, Ruth (Wehausen) Bathke, his son Brandon (Alexandra)Bathke and grandchildren Mariah, Jaxson, Ethan, Ellie, and Ember; his 6 siblings: Jeff (Bamba) Bathke, Gregg (Cheryl) Bathke, Dale Bathke, Jennifer (Mark) Hostettler, Julie Johnson, Amy (Corey) Mikolajczak. And his many nieces and nephews: Nicole, Brad, Melinda, Shaina, Courtney, Gabrielle, Travis, Cece, Nathan, and Elijah.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Lester Bathke, and grandparents Ardina and Roland Bathke, and Hildegard and Louis Wehausen.
