Todd Benedict, 47, of Binghamton, NY, died unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on January 3, 2026. He was born in Johnson City, NY, to Delores and Solon Benedict.
Todd was predeceased by his grandparents, Lucy Jones, and Alleine and Solon Benedict. He is survived by his loving wife, Antonette Benedict; his beautiful daughter, Sophia Benedict; parents, Solon and Delores Benedict; a sister and brother, Tamie (Charles) Jacobs and Tim (Sheryl) Benedict; and nephews, Aaron & Adam Jacobs.
Todd graduated from Chenango Forks. He was raised in Binghamton, NY, and was the oldest of three siblings. He worked at Suny Binghamton for 21 years, starting in Maintenance and working his way up to a Plant Utilities Engineer. He had such a strong work ethic, working two other jobs as well. He absolutely loved vacationing in Mexico with his loving family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Barber Memorial Home, 428 Main St., Johnson City, from 4-6pm with a service to follow.
