We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and PawPaw, Todd Michael DiGeorge, who joined his heavenly Father on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the age of 64.
Known by many as "the nicest guy in the world," Todd was a native of Metairie and longtime resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He lived a vibrant and dedicated life, pouring himself into everything he loved. He began his 45-year career as a Chemical Operator with American Cyanamid at the age of 19, retiring in March of this year.
Todd's dedication extended far beyond the workplace. He was a lifelong fitness enthusiast and a nationally recognized bodybuilder, earning the title of Junior National Lightweight Champion in 1987 at just 26 years old. (He'd be the first to tell you to look it up on YouTube-wink wink.)
An avid outdoorsman, Todd found peace and adventure in nature. He was a skilled deer hunter, a licensed falconer who trained and hunted with his red-tailed hawk, Medusa, and a vibrant fisherman who spent countless summers in Grand Isle, always reeling in the 'biggest catch' - and always happy to take others along for a boating adventure. When not outside, you could find Todd loving on his favorite pup, Sheldon.
Todd's larger-than-life personality, playful sense of humor, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was always ready to lend a hand, and you could bet he was setting a record with whatever the task required. He made every moment fun, whether through a story (usually on repeat), his hilarious dance moves, or one of his signature phrases that likely included "dude," "beau," or "hang on these traps."
Todd is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Vanessa, his children, Britni (Scott), Brandi and Todd II; siblings Mark (Barbara) and Beth; grandchildren Lucie and Annie; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death and now joyfully reunited with his parents, Rocco and Joyce, and his beloved daughters, Tara and Jessica.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula, LA. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow in Rosaryville Cemetery.
