Christian "Tyler" Harrell

Tyler, age 27, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. He was a resident of Prairieville, LA. Tyler was the kind of person who could light up a room the moment he walked in. His smile was infectious, and his laughter had a way of bringing joy to everyone around him. Tyler loved to joke, cut up, and keep people laughing, and his quick wit and playful spirit made him someone others naturally gravitated toward. Fishing wasn't just a hobby for him; it was his passion. Any chance he had, you could find him on the water, with a line in the water and a smile on his face. More than anything, Tyler will be remembered for the kind of man he was. He was a good man with a generous heart and an even better friend to those who knew him. Loyal, caring, and always ready with a joke or a helping hand, he made a lasting impact on the people fortunate enough to be part of his life. The memories he leaves behind, his laughter, his stories, and the joy he brought into the lives of others, will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his fiancé, Britney Templet; parents, Tonya and James Norwood; step-sons, Bradyn and Breton LeBlanc; grandmother, Roxie Fuller; brothers, Wesley Holman (Kyla Comeaux), Justin Harrell, Nick Norwood (Fran Reemes), Dustin Norwood (Nicole Wright); nephews, Christian Davis, Rayce Sharp, Colt Sharp; niece, Delilah Holman; cousin, Austin Weir; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and Cleveland Jones, Chuck and Kathy Norwood; step-daughter, Dakota Simoneaux; and best friend, Tori Banks.
