Todd Michael Latimer

On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Heaven's roads were getting rough, so they called the best road grader into service. Todd Michael Latimer passed away at the age of 52.
Todd was born in Grangeville, Idaho on August 5, 1972, to Gerald and Janice Latimer. Todd attended school in Cottonwood, Idaho and graduated from Prairie High School in 1991, where he was active in the football program.
Todd married Donna (Smith) Latimer in 1997 and welcomed their three children: Kirstin, Trista and Wyatt. He put his wife and kids first at all times, dedicating his life to being a devoted husband and father.
Todd worked around 20 years in the rock crushing industry, as well as working for JRU Well Drilling with his uncle Jim Uhling. He eventually found his place at the Grangeville Highway District. Anyone that knew him would agree that he was the hardest worker and never left a job unfinished. His work ethic was impossible to replicate.
He had a love for the outdoors, whether it was hunting, trap shooting, working, cutting firewood, or having bonfires with family and friends. He was an avid listener of music and listened to the classics like old country and 80's rock. He could name any and every song or artist.
People would often describe him as loyal, dependable, and reliable. He always found time to help his family and friends and would go out of his way to provide for the ones he knew and loved. Although he was a man of few words, when he did speak, people were quick to learn that he was full of knowledge and would often refer to him as their personal Google. He was a mentor to any and all, whether it was teaching kids how to ride a bike, how to shoot a gun, or how to drive a manual.
Todd is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Kirstin and Trista, son Wyatt, parents Gerald and Janice Latimer, brothers Chad (Natalie) Latimer and Brian (Shauna) Latimer as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Todd will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Cottonwood Community Hall, located at 506 King St. at 11:00 am. Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville. Send condolences to the family to blackmerfuneralhome.com.
