Todd Blair Lords

Todd Blair Lords, 60, was called to heaven on April 21, 2025, after battling a serious health condition for more than three years.
Todd was born on May 16, 1964, in Pocatello, Idaho. He was the oldest son of Blair and Dale Lords. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1982 and went on to serve in the Air National Guard - U.S. Air Force Reserves, where he achieved the rank of Staff Sargent, E5. He attended Brigham Young University in Utah and was recruited into his first full-time role with Herbert Research in Washington State.
Todd's work spanned decades in numerous technology disciplines, and over the years, he built a successful and respected career in telecommunications and software development industries. He had expertise in program and project management, technology delivery and directing the activities of multiple management teams and individuals to successfully achieve corporate objectives. He had successful runs at AT&T Wireless, CA ISO, Cricket Communications, and Global IT transformation for Nextel's Cellular Wireless.
In 2007, a career opportunity with Cricket brought him to Colorado - where he met the girl next door, Sue, who would become the love of his life. This lifelong bachelor was joined in holy matrimony in 2015, at a Las Vegas Chapel. Todd often shared that the last 15 years were the happiest of his life, his wife meant the world to him. Even through illness, his love for his wife and the care she provided gave him strength and joy. He frequently said he couldn't have endured the past three years without her unwavering love, care, and support.
Todd is survived by his wife; stepson; his niece and her family; and his brother. He is now reunited with his beloved family, who he missed dearly: his mother; his father; his sister; and dearest friend and brother.
Todd will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 10:30.
The Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Beacon Point Recreation Center, 26011 East Orchard Drive, Aurora, CO 80016.
