LIMA -- It is with heavy hearts we announce, Todd Michael Zapp, age 61, left this Earthly world on May 9, 2025.
Todd was born on October 27, 1963, in Lima, OH, to Frederick W. Zapp Jr. and Roberta (Kersker ) Zapp, who preceded him in death. On October 15, 1988, he married the love of his life, Teresa G. Zapp, who preceded him in death on September 13, 2019.
After graduating from Lima Senior High School in 1982, Todd began working for Trisco Systems, Inc. He became a Journeyman Bricklayer in 1984. In 1987, he was promoted to Bricklayer Foreman. In 1993, he was promoted to Restoration Superintendent, and in 1999, he was promoted to Project Manager. Most recently, he was serving there as the Senior Project Manager and Safety Director. If you knew Todd, you knew how much he loved his career and how well he did at his many roles.
Todd was extremely giving and generous. In his downtime, he enjoyed corrupting his grandchildren, playing golf, and mowing the lawn. In lieu of donations, the ambitious can stop out to trim the grass.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela (Stephen) Bartholomew and Penny Palin, his grandchildren, Anthony, Stephen, Blake, Nicholas, Marlie, Joshua, Charlotte and Michael, his brother, Frederick "Chip" Zapp III, along with his nieces & nephew.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, William "Max" Warner, and his brother, Brian Zapp.
