Toei Jesse-Matthew Hudson, affectionately known to many as Tutu or Bone, was a beacon of light and a source of unwavering strength to all who were fortunate to encounter him. Born on January 24, 1995, in Baton Rouge, LA, Toei was an embodiment of ambition, love, and loyalty- qualities that molded him into the exceptional individual he was. His captivating charm and infectious smile were a testament to his joyful spirit while his dedication to his career, family, and friends showcased his exemplary character. "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall," a quote famously said by Nelson Mandela, captures Toei's life ethos perfectly.

Toei served the Louisiana National Guard as a loyal and dedicated Federal Technician for twelve remarkable years, recently being promoted to an E5 Sergeant. His ambition and dedication to his work were unparalleled to the core of his existence where he had profound love for his family. His loving wife, Kelli Hudson, and their beloved children, Onyx, Salem, and Azriel Hudson were the center of his universe. Toei was also a cherished son to his parents, Jesse Brown, Jr. (Barbara "Pookie") as well as his mom Tainyai Hudson; a dear brother to Trevor, Dominique, Ebony, Jesse III, Ja'miracle, Aaliyah, Precious, Dajuan & Angel. Toei also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that cherished him dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Luzminda Brooks and Jesse Charles Brown Sr. and maternal grandparents: Betty Adams and Ester van Hudson; as well as his uncle Peewee. His family was his sanctuary, source of joy, and greatest accomplishment.

Toei's vibrant spirit, reflected in his hobbies of making music, working out, singing, dancing, and above all, spending time with his children brought immense joy to those around him. His humble nature and wise counsel made him the person everyone leaned on for advice and support. Toei's boundless love and loyalty, his unwavering positivity, and his captivating smile will forever be etched in our hearts. "There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains." Toei was undoubtedly one of those rare souls.

Lamentations 3:31-33: "For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love".

We invite you to celebrate Toei's life by sharing memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page. Your tributes will serve as a comforting reminder of the impact he had on our lives and the legacy he leaves behind.
