Tom DeOliveira

Thomas DeOliveira, 83, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 6, 1942, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Tom was the beloved child of Mary and Joseph DeOliveira.

He graduated high school and was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1961. He was stationed all over the U.S. and traveled to different countries, until 1963 when he was transferred to Selfridge Airbase in Harrison Township, MI.

He met his wife, Norma, while in Michigan. On May 8, 1965, they got married, and continued to share 54 wonderful years of marriage together. That same year, Tom began working at Chrysler Corp. in Sterling Heights. In 1969, Tom and Norma had their son Tommy and made their family complete.

While working for Chrysler, Tom was a member of the U.A.W. for 30 years. After retirement, Tom joined the Knights of Columbus, of which he was a member of for 30 years. In 2007, Tom and Norma became proud grandparents of Ava Gabriella, Tommy and Rosa's child. Tom loved to travel, spend time with his family and friends, especially the Crazy 8's. He also enjoyed bowling, his weekly poker games, and dancing. Above all, Tom loved and cherished his family.

Tom is survived by his son and daughter-in law, Thomas A. and Rosa (Annoni) and his granddaughter, Ava Gabriella. Tom is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma, and his parents, Mary and Joseph.

Visitation Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 3-9pm with a Scripture Service at 7:30pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Pkwy. (16 Mile). Instate Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 9:30am at St. Blase Parish, 12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Tom will be laid to rest with his wife, Norma, at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI.
